Douglas earned a certificate in culinary while attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania Academy of Culinary Arts in 1995. He went on to earn a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from North Carolina Central University in 2008. His career has included several positions within the healthcare industry, including Durham Regional Hospital in the Nuromedicine/Oncology/Palliative Care unit, Duke Hospital in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit, as well as extensive time within the home health care industry. Douglas takes pride in the standard of care Avendelle is now able to offer to its valued residents.
In addition to being able to support franchisees with nursing-related questions, Douglas is involved in all aspects of operations… From site selection and the licensure process to day-to-day operations. Douglas is always happy to lend a helping hand.
